In her new show, Pink Lions, Paper Crowns, Aliza translates childhood memories into iconic, brilliantly painted animal narratives. She states:

"The stories of our childhood teach us how to live with each other. They remind us to imagine, solve problems, deal with uncertainty, and face the consequences of our decisions, all while fighting trolls or dragons. Stories of superhero narratives, rabbits defending burrows, and closets leading to magical worlds have imprinted me for life.  My show, Pink Lions, Paper Crowns, is a siren call to the wild little child hidden in our grownup self. In these pieces, you’ll recognize characters from your childhood and meet the creatures that have wandered across my heart and mind my whole life. Open your eyes to tigers enchanted by winged friends, a fox who dearly loves the sky-bound moon, a bear gazing at her satellite,  the hare-o-naut flying away in his (ch)air-balloon, and… those lions in their paper crowns."
