Bev Jozwiak

Bev Jozwiak

Bev Jozwiak’s style is the direct result of her personal journey. Art has been in her life for as long as she can remember. Though she is the first formally trained artist in her family, graduating with honors from Western Washington University with a Fine Arts degree and an Art History minor, she is by no means the first artist. Her great-aunts, grandmother, aunt, and father all painted before her.

Whether painting in acrylics or watercolor, Bev’s goal is the same--to create an impressionistic painting with rich varied color, good design, and great values. She never wants viewers to think her paintings look like photographs, but rather wants them to see the brushwork, the love and energy that go into each and every piece.

Jozwiak’s skill as a painter has garnered her national acclaim as one of America’s premier painters. A plethora of successful one-woman shows for prestigious galleries have rewarded Bev’s years of hard work developing her style. She has lost count of how many times she has been featured in major national and International art magazines. She is the author of two 164-page books, Painting Life with Life, and Confident Brushstrokes. She has earned signature status in every major watercolor society, including the American Watercolor Society in New York, The National Watercolor Society, Master status in Transparent Watercolor Society of America, as well as Master status in Watercolor West, to name a few.  Bev believes in keeping original art affordable and accessible. She does not foresee a time when she would ever quit painting or become complacent with what she does. She hopes always to study, grow, and continue this personal artistic journey.
